  7. 3 to 4 – Cloves
  8. 1 inch – Cinnamon stick
  9. 2 pods – Cardamom
  10. 2 tbsp – Butter
  11. Cream for garnishing

Method-

Put a big pan on a small burner at a low flame. To begin with our scrumptious Makhni Gravy, heat some butter or ghee. Add thinly sliced onions and tomatoes. After this, add the flavorsome spices like bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, Black pepper, and cloves. Next, add finely chopped garlic and ginger followed by slit green chili. Sauté them for a few minutes. Don’t forget! You have to keep the flame low. If you are wishing to cook the gravy in abundance. Then, you have to keep simmering the ingredients for some time. Let’s say, you are preparing the gravy from one kg of tomatoes and onions respectively. And, you are using 200grams of garlic and gingers and 10grams of the spices respectively. Then, the probable time you should cook for is almost three hours. The taste of the gravy will only be enhanced and enriched when you are cooking it at low flame. Cooking at low flame allows the tomatoes and onions to release their juices. It makes the gravy soft and silky. If you are finding, despite adding extra butter the gravy is sticking to the pan base. You may switch off the flame for ten minutes and then lit it afterward. Once the paste becomes juicy and tender. Mix it in a mixture. You will notice that Gravy has become soft, smooth, and saucy. If you wish to make chicken gravy, then, add chicken masala, salt, and medium-cooked chicken to it. Your dish is ready. Not only this, but this gravy is also perfect for paneer and vegetable dishes as well. Don’t forget to garnish it with cream to enhance its texture and taste.
