Method

To make pav bhaji, we will first boil some vegetables. Then we will open the cooker once the steam of the cooker runs out. We see that all the vegetables have cooked well. Now we will mash these vegetables in the cooker itself.

Now we will prepare Tadka for this. For this, we will put the pan on the gas, after it gets hot, add ghee/oil to it, after a while add butter in it, when the ghee and butter get heated well then we will add cumin seeds and fry for a while, after that, we will add chopped green chilies and onions, and both will fry well. Now we will add garlic and ginger paste and mix it, after that add chopped capsicum and fry it well. Now we will add chopped tomatoes, peas, and salt as per taste after that mix them all well. Now we will add all the spices (red chili powder, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala, coriander and mango powder) and mix all these things well. And in order to cook them well, we will fry it for a while, plus we will also add some water so that all these spices do not get burnt and it becomes a bit thin.

Now we will put in all the vegetables which we had previously boiled and mashed. After adding this, we will mix all the things well together. Now add a little butter and chopped coriander to it and mix it well and cook it on low heat for a while. Now our bhaji is ready, take it down from the gas.

Now we’ll take a griddle to bake the pav and place it on the gas to heat it. When the griddle is hot, we will put butter well on the griddle and after applying the butter, bake the pav rotating it well. Put the butter on both sides and press it well.

Now our Pav Bhaji is ready in Mumbai style.

Serve it well on a plate and enjoy it.
