4. Daman

5. Bhaja Cave
On the other side of the cave of Karla is the cave of Bhaja. In the second century BC, this cave was built. This cave is 3 kilometers from the station in Malawi.
6. Tapola
Tapola is one of the best places to visit in Monsoon close to Mumbai. It is also known as West Coast Kashmir. This lovely place is situated 300 km from Mumbai and 150 km from Pune. It is a beautiful green region spread around the beautiful Lake Sivasagar. To trekkers it is unbeatable.
7. Igatpuri
Igatpuri is a picturesque place surrounded by the Western Ghats and the serene atmosphere. The loveliest holiday destination is near Mumbai. The perfect time to visit this beautiful place is between June to September or November and March, located at a distance of 120 kilometers. The Camel Valley, Amritsar Temple, Arthur Lake, Kalsubai Hill, Bhatsa River Valley can be roamed here.
8. Malshej Ghat
Malshej Ghat, famous for its lush green curves, is an excellent place to visit near Mumbai. It is surrounded all around the Western Ghats by mountains. It is approximately 154 km from Mumbai. Perfect months to come are July to August, and October to March. Also, visitors can visit Harishchandragad, Shivneri Fort, and Pimpalgaon Joga Dam.
9. Mahabaleshwar
Mahabaleshwar has always been a hub of tourist attraction. Here, it is worth seeing the peaks and beautiful high mountain valleys. You can take a flight from Pune airport to reach here, while if you want to go by train, the nearest railway station is Satara. You can enjoy riding horseback here. Besides that, elephant points are quite common too.
10. Tungarli Lake
During the British Empire, the Tungarli Lake was built to conserve rainwater. There is plenty of water in this lake during the rains, in which people who come here enjoy boating.
11. Murud-Janjira
The magnificent Murud-Janjira Fort is situated on a small island next to the district of Raigad and is a perfect place to visit near Mumbai. Located 150 km away from Mumbai, this location is the best place to spend peaceful time. Between October to March the ideal time to visit here. Here you can go horse riding too.
12. Lohagarh Fort
This fort is in the village Bhaj, 3 kilometers from the station in Malawi. This fort houses a dargah. On the left of the fort are Lake Pavna and Fort Tikona. There is Tung Fort and Koregarh Fort beyond that as well.
13. Tikona Fort
The fort at Tikona is on the way to Lake Pavna. It has a Buddhist cave at its summit and some water tanks. In winter a beautiful reflection of the Pavana Lake Tikona Fort is seen.
14. Rajamchi
Located among beautiful plains, Rajamchi is about 300 km from Mumbai. Tourists come over here to see Shivaji’s fort and its glory. Here too the Wildlife Century is a center of attraction.
15. Amboli
This lovely station on the hill is also known as the Queen of Maharashtra. This hill station, surrounded by natural beauty, is one of the tourist’s favorite spots. Located in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, this hill station is renowned for its natural beauty. It can be reached by flying here from Dabolim airport. It’s also reachable by train. The sunset point is very famous here. Besides this, dense and beautiful forests can be seen from Shirgaonkar Point.
